Coord Horizontal CMM – Jupitor

The JUPITER Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) is a high-performance inspection solution developed specifically for body and sub-assembly measurement applications in manufacturing environments. Designed for direct use on the shop floor, the JUPITER combines precision measurement capabilities with a robust, production-ready design.

Available in both single-arm and double-arm configurations, the JUPITER features a track-mounted design and a fully enclosed structure that provides thermal insulation from environmental variations while protecting critical components from contamination commonly found in production facilities.

Its open recessed design, walkable guards protecting the X-axis slideways, and complete machine fairing provide excellent accessibility to the measuring area, simplifying loading and unloading operations while enabling efficient inspection directly within the manufacturing process.

The JUPITER delivers high dynamic performance and precision and can be installed flush with the factory floor. Precision air bearings on both the Y and Z axes contribute to smooth and accurate movement. In double-arm configurations, the measuring volumes overlap by 100 mm, allowing complete inspection of large structures without repositioning the component.
