The EDG Series Double-Sided Fine Grinder is designed for high-precision batch grinding of flat components requiring exceptional dimensional accuracy and surface finish quality. Built with a high-strength cast iron structure, precision spindle assemblies, and CBN grinding wheel technology, the machine delivers consistent and repeatable double-sided grinding performance across a wide range of industrial applications.
The machine features three independently adjustable drive systems combined with three-stage pneumatic pressure control, allowing stable processing conditions and efficient semi-automatic loading and unloading. An integrated online measurement system continuously monitors part dimensions and communicates directly with the PLC control system, helping to maintain accuracy throughout the grinding cycle.
The EDG Series is equipped with a precision size control system capable of measurement indication to 0.001 mm. Advanced dimensional monitoring provides real-time feedback to the control system, ensuring consistent production results. An air filtration system utilising SMC pneumatic components helps maintain clean, dry compressed air for reliable machine operation.
Suitable for high-volume production environments, the EDG Series is commonly used for the double-sided grinding of hydraulic and pneumatic components, hydraulic motor parts, steering components, refrigeration compressor parts, oil pump nozzles, engine components, precision bearings, seals, piston rings, cutting tools, moulds, instrument plates, carbide tools, ceramic valve cores, silicon wafers, and magnetic materials.
