Micro Dynamics 20V APC

The Micro Dynamics MEGA 20VAPC is a high-performance vertical machining centre equipped with a dual-pallet automatic pallet changer (APC) designed to maximise spindle utilisation and reduce non-cutting time. Developed for continuous production environments, the machine combines high-speed machining capabilities with rapid pallet exchange to support demanding manufacturing applications.

The servo-driven APC system exchanges pallets in just 8.5 seconds, allowing operators to load and prepare workpieces on one pallet while machining continues uninterrupted on the other. This significantly improves productivity and machine utilisation in high-volume production environments.

The machine features a 15,000 rpm built-in spindle as standard, with optional 18,000 rpm and 20,000 rpm configurations available. Combined with a 40-tool automatic tool changer and rapid tool-to-tool change times, the MEGA 20VAPC is designed for efficient machining of complex components requiring high accuracy and throughput.

Micro Dynamics' DYPEC® thermal compensation technology continuously monitors and corrects thermal growth effects, helping maintain machining accuracy throughout extended production runs. The machine is further enhanced by the Micro MILL operator interface, providing touchscreen-based access to tool measurement, workpiece probing, and conversational programming functions.
