Description
The Micro Dynamics MEGA 30V is a high-speed vertical machining centre designed for precision machining and high metal removal rates. Built around a rigid Meehanite FC300 cast iron structure, the machine combines high spindle performance, rapid axis movements, and advanced thermal compensation technology to deliver consistent accuracy in demanding production environments.
The machine features a 15,000 rpm built-in spindle delivering 41 HP and 141 Nm of torque, providing the performance required for a wide range of machining applications. Large cross-roller linear guideways and pre-tensioned ball screws enhance rigidity and positioning accuracy, while rapid traverse rates of up to 52 m/min help minimise non-cutting time.
Micro Dynamics’ DYPEC® thermal compensation system continuously monitors and compensates for thermal growth, maintaining machining accuracy during extended production runs. The machine is controlled by the Mitsubishi M830VW CNC platform and enhanced with the Micro Dynamics HMI, providing intuitive touchscreen operation and simplified machine management.
With a 30-tool automatic tool changer, integrated chip management system, and high-speed rigid tapping capability, the MEGA 30V is well suited to aerospace, medical, precision engineering, and general manufacturing applications requiring productivity, accuracy, and reliability.
