Description

The Micro Dynamics TERA 50V is a high-performance vertical machining centre engineered for heavy-duty machining, deep drilling, and precision milling applications. Designed for industries such as aerospace, automotive, mould and die, semiconductor, and general engineering, the machine combines a rigid structure, powerful spindle performance, and advanced thermal compensation technology to deliver exceptional productivity and accuracy.

Built around a heavily ribbed FC300 Meehanite® cast iron structure, the TERA 50V provides outstanding rigidity and vibration damping during demanding machining operations. The machine features a high-performance built-in spindle and rapid traverse rates, enabling fast material removal while maintaining excellent surface finishes and dimensional accuracy.

The Mitsubishi M830VW CNC control, combined with the Micro Dynamics HMI, provides intuitive operation, simplified setup procedures, and advanced machining functionality. DYPEC® thermal compensation continuously monitors and corrects thermal growth effects, helping maintain machining accuracy throughout extended production cycles.

With high-speed tool changing, expandable tool storage capacity, and a compact footprint relative to its travel range, the TERA 50V is designed to maximise productivity while minimising floor space requirements.
