Description
The Micro Dynamics MEGA 20V APC is a high-production vertical machining centre designed to maximise spindle utilisation through automated pallet handling and high-speed machining performance. Featuring a servo-driven automatic pallet changer, the machine enables continuous production by reducing setup times and minimising non-cutting operations.
The dual-pallet system exchanges pallets in just 8.5 seconds, allowing operators to prepare the next job while machining continues on the active pallet. Combined with rapid tool changes and high feed rates, the MEGA 20V APC is ideally suited to lights-out manufacturing and high-volume production environments.
Built on a heavily ribbed FC300 Meehanite cast iron structure, the machine delivers excellent rigidity and vibration damping for demanding machining applications. Advanced technologies such as DYPEC® thermal compensation continuously monitor and correct thermal growth effects, helping maintain machining accuracy during long production runs.
The machine is equipped with Mitsubishi CNC control and the Micro Dynamics HMI interface, providing intuitive operation, simplified setup procedures, and efficient program management.
