Description
The Micro Dynamics MEGA 40V is a high-performance vertical machining centre designed for heavy-duty cutting, precision machining, and high-speed mould and die applications. Combining a compact footprint with powerful spindle performance and advanced control technology, the machine delivers exceptional productivity and accuracy across a wide range of manufacturing sectors.
Built around a rigid FC300 Meehanite cast iron structure, the MEGA 40V provides excellent vibration damping and machining stability during demanding cutting operations. The high-performance built-in spindle delivers 41 HP and up to 141 Nm of torque, enabling efficient material removal while maintaining excellent surface finishes and dimensional accuracy.
The machine incorporates DYPEC® thermal compensation technology, which continuously monitors and corrects thermal growth effects to maintain positioning accuracy during extended machining cycles. Advanced CNC control options, combined with the intuitive Micro Dynamics touchscreen interface, provide simplified operation and efficient program management.
Designed for modern manufacturing environments, the MEGA 40V also supports coolant-through-spindle capability, automation integration, and high-speed tool changing, making it well suited to aerospace, automotive, mould and die, and precision engineering applications.
