The Mitsubishi MV-2400S is a high-performance wire EDM machine designed for precision machining of complex components and demanding production applications. Combining advanced drive technology, intelligent automation, and low operating costs, the MV-2400S delivers exceptional accuracy, productivity, and reliability for toolmaking, aerospace, medical, automotive, and precision engineering industries.
At the heart of the machine is Mitsubishi's Tubular Direct Drive System, which uses magnetic propulsion on the X, Y, U, and V axes to eliminate traditional ball screws. This results in backlash-free positioning, improved long-term accuracy, reduced maintenance requirements, and superior contouring performance.
The MV-2400S incorporates Mitsubishi's advanced Digital Matrix Sensor technology and V350 generator to minimise wire vibration and significantly reduce wire consumption. Combined with its highly reliable Automatic Wire Threading (AWT) system, the machine supports extended unattended operation and efficient lights-out manufacturing.
The Mitsubishi M800 control platform provides intuitive operation through a large touchscreen interface, while integrated wire management systems further reduce operator intervention and improve shop-floor efficiency.
