Description
The Renishaw OTS (Optical Tool Setter) is a compact, table-mounted tool setting probe designed for automatic tool measurement and broken tool detection on CNC machining centres. Installed within the machine work envelope, the OTS allows tools to be measured quickly and accurately without manual intervention, helping to improve machining accuracy, reduce setup times, and support automated manufacturing processes.
Using Renishaw's proven optical transmission technology, the OTS automatically measures tool length and diameter, updates tool offsets, and detects broken or damaged tools before machining begins.
