Description
The MVR Series Manual Vision Metrology Systems are designed for fast, accurate, and repeatable non-contact measurement in quality control, inspection, and manufacturing environments. Ideal for first-off inspections, short production runs, and high-throughput measurement tasks, the MVR Series combines advanced optics, precision mechanics, and intuitive software to deliver exceptional measurement performance.
Built on a highly stable granite base, the MVR Series features manual X-Y positioning via precision handwheels and a motorized Z-axis with variable speed control for smooth and accurate focusing. Available with either dedicated 6.5:1 zoom optics or interchangeable telecentric lenses, the system provides excellent image quality, micron-level measurement accuracy, and precise field-of-view measurements across a wide range of component sizes.
At the heart of the system is MetLogix™ M3 metrology software running on a large touch-screen interface. Operators can perform measurements directly from the live video image, utilise Video Edge Detection (VED) for rapid feature recognition, and import DXF CAD files for automatic comparison against engineering drawings. The result is a versatile and user-friendly vision measurement solution capable of improving inspection speed, consistency, and accuracy.
