Description
The Tomelleri SPACE Plus Portable Articulated CMM Arm is a high-performance metrology solution designed for precision inspection, reverse engineering, laser scanning, and dimensional verification directly on the shop floor. Combining exceptional accuracy with lightweight portability, the SPACE Plus Series provides a flexible alternative to traditional fixed CMM systems while maintaining outstanding measurement performance across a wide range of applications.
Available in measuring ranges from 1.8 m to 4.0 m and configurable in either 6-axis or 7-axis formats, the SPACE Plus adapts easily to both touch-probe inspection and advanced laser scanning requirements. A double mechanical spring counterbalance system provides smooth, weightless arm movement, reducing operator fatigue and improving measurement consistency during extended use.
The SPACE Plus also incorporates an advanced electromagnetic safety brake that automatically locks and unlocks the arm when moved from its home position, ensuring safe handling and protection during transport and operation.
